I’ve tried many Batana oils before, but after using this one, I realized I was using fake versions the whole time. This is by far the most authentic Batana oil I’ve ever purchased — the smell, the texture, and the quality are completely different. My hair has improved significantly, it feels so much smoother, healthier, and stronger. What makes this even more trustworthy is that it clearly states it’s from Honduras, which most of the fake products don’t mention. I started using this in January of 2024. Bottom line.. It works... with a few caveats.
Like many other reviewers .. yes it does have a smokey "campfire" smell.. but I didn't let that put me off. I bought the set so I used the solid mask on my scalp and the liquid on my hair. If I put too much on .. it's going to leave my hair greasy after shampooing... just learn how much to use and you should be ok like me. (I have very fine hair)
I stopped using it for a few months and noticed my hair not looking as good.. so I went back to using it once a week and my hair is back to looking thick and healthy. You have to be consistent but it does work.

Can’t complain because it really did make my hair feel so soft. Unfortunately it did not work well with my hair colouring. I have white hair and the colour of the oil made my hair look grubby and patchy. Think it’s more suited to hair with some pigment. But if you have hair with colour in it, it really is a nice product to moisturise and condition.

8 weeks into using Batanaful Batana oil and I absolutely love it and cannot recommend it enough. It smells like burnt shit.
In your advertisement, it was shown as kids are smelling it as awesome (hmmm .... ).
In reality, it looks very brown and smelling like shit.
Iam afraid to apply it and go out.

I received my order very quick. However, I cannot get past the cigarette ashtray smell. It smells horrible even after washing my hands. I only slid my finger over the surface. I cannot imagine having my hair smell like this gor any kength of time.
The seal was also broken upon arrival.
